Unreal Engine 4 won't even get a complete, finished Unreal game of any kind, it seems. Unreal Engine 3 only got UT3 and that's it. Honestly with the lacking effort and post-game support that UT3 got, I'm not surprised UT4 ended up the way it has. They should just rename the engine to Epic Games Engine or some shit. Kinda funny that the engines are still called Unreal Engine when the Unreal games are no longer the centerpieces or showcases. I had hope for UT4 for a while, but now I'm just like eh whatever.

I've been playing the UT4 alpha here and there for the past couple years or so, and it never really found it's footing. Not to mention crossplay, which will be enabled when the console beta begins on July 13.To this day I still spend a lot of time with UT99, UT2K4 and UT3. That’s when it’ll get new areas, a new appearance, new animations, cosmetics, and load-outs.

Facing Worlds, Deck16, Morpheus, assault mode, instagib, ahh good times in PC gaming. The simplicity of two mirrored buildings facing each other is fascinating in a pure arena FPS. I haven’t played Unreal Tournament much, but I can see why Splitgate selected Facing Worlds as the basis for Foregone Destruction. Miss all the old frag fest games like HL team fortress Q2 and unreal tournament.
